Your luxurious Kruger and Sabi Sands Safari:

4 days Safari:

After your arrival at Johannesburg or Pretoria Airport we will meet you there to welcome you.

Jan-Smuts-Airport, Johannesburg

If you are already accommodated in a hotel there collection will be at approximately 6:45 am. 

Pretoria We travel to the outskirts of Pretoria, the seat of Government, before passing eastwards through the highlands with its many corn, cattle and sheep farms towards Kruger Park.



The famous Cullinan Diamond Mine We also pass through the area where the worlds largest diamond, the world famous Cullinan Diamond (3106 carats), was found. Once we travelling through the coal mining town of Witbank, we will shortly arrive for our welcome coffee break. Your guide will point out along the way a well known tulip farm before you arrive at the hilly escarpment and trout fishing area of Belfast

Nelspruit The journey begins to become more and more scenic as you arrive in the low lying Nelspruit area with hills and valleys and where a third of the country's citrus grows. Enjoy a stop at an African craft shop before departing for the final leg to the Kruger National Park

Arrival at Kruger Park will be at lunch time. We´ll change vehicles to your open 4x4 safari vehicle, enjoy lunch, check into your accommodation and relaxation before we leave on our afternoon exciting game drive until sunset. Time for a hot shower and relax before enjoying a superb dinner at the camp restaurant.

Second Day: Kruger National Park/ Private Wildlife Reserve

Open Drive

Sunrise wake up with tea, coffee and biscuits. Get your cameras ready for exciting morning game viewing. In the comfort of your open vehicle, offering you tremendous height and unobstructed views, we set off in search of the Big Five visiting waterholes, rocky outcrops, river roads and open savannah. Enjoy the thrill of seeing sights such as elephant, giraffe, hippos, rhino and many other species in their natural environment. After approximately three hours stop for a mouth watering buffet breakfast/brunch before continuing back to camp on another game drive. 

Sabi Sand SafariWe collect our things, change vehicles and head for the private reserve Sabi Sands.  This takes roughly an hour and a half an interesting drive through native villages.  Enjoy children waving and the friendly atmosphere.  Once we arrive at the private reserve you are served a welcome drink and shown your luxury room, the sound of the African drums invites us to a light lunch over looking the African wild.  It is not unusual for animals to be enjoying a refreshing drink at the nearby water hole.  Time to relax and sunbathe around the plunge pool or enjoy a few quiet moments in your comfortable room over looking the wild. 

Open Drive Approximately 2 hours before sunset we depart in the open air safari vehicle in search of the big five with the assistance of a Shangaan tracker.  Get your cameras ready for the excitement of live big five tracking, as it won't be long before we arrive up close with some of Africa's magnificent wildlife.  If you are fortunate see elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino and leopard only a few metres away from your vehicle.  At sunset we stretch our legs and enjoy a drink of your choice watching the first stars appear and the impressive African red sunset. 

Night Drive Time for an exciting night drive with powerful spot lights in search of the nights many secretive creatures.  This is the time, when predators are most active. 
Return to camp for a hot shower before the sound of the drums calls us for a delicious three course dinner served besides log fires in an open air boma.  Enjoy the atmosphere, your favourite wine, wholesome food and especially the night sounds in the safety of your camp.  The rest of the evening is spent telling wildlife stories around a roaring camp fire.

Third Day: Private Wildlife Reserve

Lion Lady Sunrise wake up with tea or coffee.  Our early morning game drive takes you through open savannah and thick bush, a noticeable aspect of the bush is the many birds calling in the morning.  Our tracker notices signs of an interesting animal and directs us into thick bush, the vehicle pushing over small trees and  bushes makes an exciting tracking experience.   Suddenly we notice the first of a pride of 9 lions grooming themselves after an active night of hunting. 

African BirdAfter spending time with this quality sighting we head for safe area for a welcome tea or coffee and biscuits.  From here we continue game viewing in this rich wildlife region taking in sights of birds and animals in their natural environment. 
Time to head back to camp for a well earned home cooked English breakfast followed by leisure time enjoying sun bathing, swimming, sleeping, game watching from your balcony or catching up on your favourite book. 

Bush Walk For the energetic we have a bush walk with an armed ranger, giving you chance to identify animals spoor, see a few of the small creatures and insects, identify trees and flowers especially those with native healing qualities and walk amongst the animals in safety and care of your guide. Await the sound of the drums for a hearty lunch proceeded by more leisure time before our evening game drive commencing approximately 2 hours before sunset. 

Return to camp for a hot shower before the sound of the drums calls us for a delicious three course dinner served besides log fires in an open air boma.  Enjoy the atmosphere, your favourite wine, wholesome food and especially the night sounds in the safety of your camp.  The rest of the evening is spent telling wildlife stories around a roaring camp fire. 

Fourth Day: Private Wildlife Safari and back to Johannesburg/Pretoria

Leopard Sunrise wake up with tea or coffee. Get your cameras ready for exciting morning game viewing.  The light is perfect for photography as we pass animals already very active. Enjoy a slow drive down a river bed while your tracker is constantly alert for any signs, his trained eyes are unbeatable as he spots a leopard basking in the morning sun on top of an anthill. Amazingly we can get close to it as it sees the vehicle as one and not many people. In a safe area we stop for tea or coffee and biscuits taking in the peaceful atmosphere, warm sun and fresh air. 

Drakensberg Mountain RangeOur last game drive stopping to view a few of the many general species such as giraffe, kudu, zebra and warthog. Time to return to camp for a delicious buffet style breakfast before departing back to Johannesburg. On route back we visit the spectacular Drakensberg mountain range. A  scenic route of waterfalls, breathtaking views including God's Window, forests, the confluence of two rivers where pebbles have carved potholes out of the embedded rock and the third largest canyon in the world. We stop at a sweet and savoury pancake house for lunch( not included in price) with a superb African craft shop. Our last stop an historic gold mining town before our final leg to Johannesburg arriving at approximately 6 pm. 

5 days Safari:

The 5 days Safari will be the same as the 4 days Safari but youŽll spend two whole days both in Kruger Nationalpark and Sabi Sands. YouŽll be shuttled to Sabi Sands on your third day.

IMPORTANT!
The Kruger National Park belongs to a Malaria belt and anti Malaria medication (besides other vaccinations) needs to be taken 1 week prior to the commencement of the safari.
