Our Economy Safaris:

The aim of this safari is to show you the magnificent display of wildlife seen in Kruger National Park in the most cost effective way.

Day 1:

After your arrival at Johannesburg or Pretoria Airport we will meet you there to welcome you.

Jan-Smuts-Airport, Johannesburg

If you are already accommodated in a hotel there we´ll come to meet you at app. 6:45 am.

We travel to the outskirts of Pretoria, the seat of Government, before passing through the highlands with its many corn, cattle and sheep farms eastwards towards Kruger Park. We also pass through the area where the worlds largest diamond, to date ,was found, The Cullinan Diamond 3106 carats. Once we pass through the coal mining town of Witbank, we will shortly arrive for our first welcome coffee break. Your guide will point out along the way a well known tulip farm before you arrive at the hilly escarpment and trout fishing area of Belfast. The journey begins to become more and more scenic as you arrive in the low lying Nelspruit area of hills and valleys and where a third of the country's citrus grows. Enjoy a stop at a well stocked african craft shop before departing for the final leg to the Kruger National Park. Arrive Kruger Park for lunch, check into your accommodation and relaxation before we leave on our afternoon exciting game drive until sunset. Evening spent at your leisure - dinner (excluded) is available for the camp restaurant.

 Day 2:

Kruger National Park
Sunrise wake up with tea, coffee and biscuits. Get your cameras ready for exciting morning game viewing. In the comfort of your open vehicle, offering you tremendous height and unobstructed views, we set off in search of the Big Five visiting waterholes, rocky outcrops, river roads and open savannah. Enjoy the thrill of seeing elephant, giraffe, hippos, rhino and many other species in their natural environment. After approximately three hours stop for a mouth watering buffet breakfast/brunch before continuing back to camp on another game drive. Time to relax during the heat of the day, swim, sun tan, read a few chapters of your gripping book, game view from the camp balcony, do a bit of shopping, have a bit of lunch or simply sleep in your air conditioned bungalow until afternoon game drive. Afternoon game drive  departs 3 hours before sunset, enjoy the thrill of seeing lions in the road, a fish eagle grooming itself in a large fig tree, watch a dung beetle push his ball across the road avoiding all the obstacles, take a photograph of the impala lily - a beautiful flower. Enjoy a massive herd of buffalo crossing or an elephant bull blocking the road and never mind the elusive leopard that is often up a tree this time of day. Evening spent at your leisure - dinner (excluded) is available for the camp restaurant.

Day 3:

Kruger National Park - Johannesburg/Pretoria
Sunrise wake up with tea, coffee and biscuits. Get your cameras ready for exciting morning game viewing.  Wait for the monkeys and baboons to leave the road before we head for a new game viewing area. We have the advantage of our open vehicles being radio interlinked to other similar vehicles so we do not miss that special sighting. Enjoy a slow drive past a rocky out crop, enjoy a giraffe in the morning light reaching for the top leaves of an acacia tree. The dazzling effect of the zebra's hide is quite noticeable as we pass through a herd. What you have been waiting for a leopard flicking its tail through the long grass then giving us a clear view before departing to its solitary world. Time to stop for a delicious buffet style breakfast. Pack our bags, leave camp for our final game drive in search of those animals we may have not seen. Time to leave the magnificent Kruger Park and head back to Johannesburg. On route we stop for a refreshment break and lunch. Arrive Johannesburg at approximately 6 pm.
